YFLINT (WJRT) -
(08/24/11) - The deadline is the end of December to finish the construction of 25 homes in Smith Village.

Smith Village is a new housing project going up in Flint.

The Developer and Contractor Charles Young is working around the clock to get it done.
Workers were on site Thursday building three new homes from the ground up.

Due to timing, Young says portions of the remaining 22 homes will be built with manufactured frames not the entire home. "Once the work is back here on the site, then the workers and local labor will assembly porches and garages", says Young.

Young says 30 percent of the labor has to come from flint, a HUD stipulation that carries penalties if not followed. Young says he hopes to have 70 percent of his workers come from Flint.

If everything goes according to schedule, there will be over hundred homes is Smith Village for low to moderate income families by the end of 2012.
Young is now the developer and the contractor?

I wonder how Young, Eason, etc., would look in horizontal stripes?

Between 20 to 40 copies of this lengthy lawsuit (25 pages) are being distributed now with more copies in the future.

What does this have to do with the topic? This developer was unqualified and the end result is additional cost to the Flint taxpayers.
