Mentor a Child
"Mentors Committed To Excellence"

The Flint Community Schools recognizes that learning is both an in-school and out-of-school experience that focuses on learning as a life-long process. The Flint Community Schools invites individual citizens, organizations, churches, businesses, agencies, corporate sponsors, and others to get involved in helping the growth and development of a child through mentoring.

Mentoring is a one-on-one relationship that matches a caring adult with a child. This experience helps a child develop his/her fullest potential capable of making informed, responsible decisions as contributing members of our community.

This is a great opportunity to enrich a young person's life. For a mentor application and/or information, please call the Office of Community Education / Relations at 760-1211.
