At tonight's budget hearing with City Attorney Wheeler, councilwoman Fields submitted questions in writing. Her final question contained inquiries in regard to Aonie Gilcreast's niece:

Frazier-Jenkins, Whitney S

Assistant City Attorney

$59,170 (2018)

Inquiries revolved around Frazier-Jenkins living full-time in California, why we employ an attorney who lives 2,500 miles away from Flint, why don't we fill her position with a Flint-based attorney, have we ever had an attorney on staff who lived out of state (let alone 2,500 miles away from Flint). Councilpersons Davis and Winfrey-Carter attempted to run inference as this final question approached, in a transparent attempt to showcase solidarity with hizzoner Aonie Gilcreast and to scuttle Wheeler from having to answer.

Wheeler then took a defiant and aggressive posture, ultimately deflecting from answering any of the specific inquiries. All-around it was a pretty transparent confirmation that Aonie Gilcreast has full control of every City Hall department, including the City Attorney's office.

Further, Fields prior questions revolved around outside legal billing. Google what's happening in Atlanta with the FBI and their City Hall, most recently with their city attorney and hired outside counsel. It's interesting how Flint's city attorney hires the mayor's cousin Kendall Williams Esq., especially as he represents the mayor in personal capacities. I can't help but wonder if a certain fired city attorney and his new law firm in Troy will be the recipients of Flint legal contracts in the near future.

She is the only one without a City phone number/ Her husband is in the military and stationed in California so she can use military transport.

Gilcreast testified She was his niece. Gilcreast is the only family member to use that spelling. Her mother was his sister.

There appears to be a connection to Derrick Aldridge and the Winfrey Family. Herbert Winfrey is an associate minister of the Second Chance Church of which Aldridge is Pastor. Aldridge went out of state to conduct the funeral of the mother of Winfrey.

Ex-Michigan lawmaker Bert Johnson gets jail for ghost employee scheme
Posted: 2:14 PM, Sep 06, 2018 Updated: 9:43 AM, Sep 07, 2018

A former Michigan lawmaker accused of putting a no-show employee on the public payroll has been sentenced to 90 days in jail.

Bert Johnson, a Democrat from Highland Park, was seeking probation and home detention. But federal Judge Matthew Leitman sent him to jail.

Johnson pleaded guilty in March to conspiring to steal money and immediately resigned from the state Senate. Authorities say Glynis Thornton did no work for Johnson but collected $23,000. She had lent him money.

Prosecutors had sought up to a year in prison for what they called an "egregious act of corruption."

Defense attorney John Shea told the judge that Johnson could work and take care of his children and ailing mother if placed on home detention.

Are the allegations true that Milhouse also got one of the 15 houses that they kept from the Land Bank Mays also admitted in council that his girlfriend recovered the house she
allegedly lost. He should have been required to make it in writing to the clerk.
