We have little time left to reform the Flint School District's reform.
Dr. Walter Milton Jr. does not have an effective organization. I no longer believe a word he says.
I suggest:
1. Demand full incremental public reporting so the community can become engaged, weekly.
2. Transparency in what's left of reform efforts.
3. The elected leadership must walk into the spotlight with Milton. I do not trust Milton. I am not alone.
4. A series of Saturday public hearings on all Flint Board of Education issues to build consensus, but more importantly to give parents hope - or expect a tidal wave of transfers out of the district.
