Re: that oriental police officer who said "they were staying nuetral" vice enforcing the law.....

someday if he should find himself in a struggle with a criminal who will be more likely to come to his aid:.....a "code pink" member, or a marine/marine recruit.

his response was the most disgusting display I saw in that video.

Title 22 of the US Code, Section 2656f(d):
The term “terrorism” means premeditated, politically motivated violence perpetrated against noncombatant targets by subnational groups or clandestine agents, usually intended to influence an audience.

In my last post, I asked, when was the last time you heard about terror attacks anywhere in the world that killed Americans? Americans that are killed in Iraq, are combatants in a war zone and killed by acts of war, not by acts of terrorism. Our brave who serve in the military assume the risk when they are in a war zone. The people who were killed on 9-11 just went to work on that fateful day expecting to be a normal day.

Last May, 6 Muslim extremeist were arrested for planning to attacks on fort Dix NJ
In 06, the transatlantic aircraft plot where terrorist planned on detonating liquid explosives on aircraft traveling from the UK to the US was foiled.
also in 06, Federal Agents arrested 3 men in Toledo ( right down the road from Flint) for conspiracy to wage holy war against the US.These guys trained, recruited, and procured materiels to wage terror.
A terror cell was also busted in Miami in 06 who conspired to bomb the sears tower in Chicago.
There was also another plot foiled where the terrorist planned to bomb the world bank in Califorinia
There have been a couple of other occasions where terrorist planned to bomb the transportation infrastructure in Nwe York that were foiled.
Potential terror attacks have been stopped.

A dead American is a dead american is a dead american. Whether they died in a terrorist attack or in a war zone they are still an american casualty. I doubt Al Qaeda really cares whether or not they kill a soldier or american citizen.

Well lets hope our relentless pursuit against the terrorists will continue but the outlook of a Hillary or Baracko presidency does not instill much confidence.

Unless we cut off our entitlements we will not be able to afford wars and be able to police the world. The way things are going we will not even be able to afford a military in 40 years.

If you haven't heard we are already beginning to fund wars the same way nazi germany and many other countries did. (Inflation)

It makes a big difference to Al Qaeda whether they kill a GI, or citizen. If they are able to carry out more attacks on US soil, that would instill fear in Americans and send us the message that we aren't safe anywhere. Beleive me, they would much rather strike a target here in the US and cause chaos just like 9-11 did in New York.

I have to admit that this makes sense http://www.cnn.com/2004/WORLD/meast/11/01/binladen.tape/index.html

By attacking us on U.S. soil they helped drag us overseas. If you look at middle east history Jon Mccain might be a little off when he said we might only need to be in Iraq for a 100 years. They fight wars for hundreds sometimes thousands of years over there. With us already in $60 trillion in deb most of it on paper still all they need to do is take on a couple trillion to our current absolute debt to hasten our finanial problems. We are beginning to see the effects of inflation. Hopefully Ron Paul and I our misguided but if not Al Qaeda should not be our main concern right now.

It would be relatively cheap to not let terrorists cross our borders but I am clueless that we are valiantly fighting overseas while leaving our own country relatively unprotected.
