Howdy,

I don't know if this matters or not, but I have received communication from the following offices pertaining to my "unhappiness" with the primary.

John Gleason's office: Impression? I can honestly say that I was impressed with the timing of the response and when I sent my letter. First call from his office was stating that we feel that your letter is important and we laid the letter on his desk so he will see it when he gets back in on Monday. Shocked The second call was from an associate that retorted the following in a nutshell: John agrees that our primary should be moved up, but was not satisfied with how it was handled. One out of two of my concerns and his agreeing with me wasn't all bad. Smile I asked about the retention of addys after the primary was done, was instructed to contact the Michigan Democratic party.....been there done that.

Dale Kildee's office: Wonderful woman that I spoke to went out of way to find snail mail addy for Michigan Dem office, for me to voice concerns over the retention of addy after primary on the 15th and stated that there was nothing that his office could do about it.

Dave Robertson's office: No response.

Mark Brewer's office: No response......probably won't get one at all, guaranteed not too.

Found in today's Flint Journal Talk Back:

quote:
PAUL PUNISHMENT: Now that the Michigan Democratic presidential primary has become a useless beauty contest where Hillary Clinton's only major opponent is "uncommitted" and the national party has stripped Michigan of its delegates to the Democratic National Convention as punishment for the early primary, I've decided to punish the Michigan GOP by crossing over to vote for Ron Paul.

RP and these choices brings to mind a quote by Ronald Reagn

Politics is supposed to be the second oldest profession. I have come to realize that it bears a very close resemblance to the first

I personally also also like the old joke used in Man of the Year:

Politicians are like diapers, they should be changed often & for the same reason.

Confirmed:

UPDATE JAN 9 9am PST: TOWN OF SUTTON CONFIRMS RON PAUL TOTALS WERE 31, NOT ZERO.

I just got off the phone with Jennifer Call, Town Clerk for Sutton. She confirmed that the Ron Paul totals in Sutton were actually 31, and said that they were "left off the tally sheet" and it was human error.

Thru the wild cathedral evening the rain unraveled your Paulist tales
For the disrobed faceles forms of no position, the Ron Paulies still listen..
Trolling for the tongues with no place to bring their purtrid thoughts
All down in taken for granted situations they lash, slash and lay about
Trolling for the deaf and blind, trolling for the mutes, trolling for the new
Trolling for the mistreated, mateles mothers, the mistitled prostitutes
For the misdemeanor outlaw chased an cheated by this pursuit be he
An we gazed upon the chimes of freedom flashing, flash, flash, flash
Ringing clear ....set free the Paul set free the Paul... ya all
Its Hillarys ball, nowhere for ye to go but fall
by the dog of defeat he shall be biten by the mighty
Clinton

See generally Chimes of Freedom Bob Dylan verse #4
this is just fun
