well ted, if i ran the 810, after closing i would have hired security to
ensure everyone left the parking area post-haste. loitering in the parking
lot and in the neighbor's driveways would have not been tolerated.
some businesspeople (managers) do not wish to spend the money
for proper security measures. when they don't do their job properly, the
neighbors suffer. and that they did.
the 810 was well known as a neighborhood trouble spot and having the
apartment complex right across the street didn't help because many of
the dealers were storing stuff there which enabled them to simply run
across the street repeatedly. our whole neighborhood was tired, and the
seniors, of which there are many were afraid. the guy surely made enough
money to hire ample security but for whatever reason, he chose not to.
a club manager is responsible until people are OFF the property.
re: channel 12...can you imagine ed phelps driving out of channel 12
at midnight after the weather and all of a sudden being confronted by
some crazed idiot??? those people were scared to death!!
hey man. there are smart ways to run clubs. some just think of the money
and nevermind the clientele or security.
by the way, i saw your appeal on ch.17. that was a good job. are you and
the other kat the only 2 peeps in flint with studios to rent for locally
produced shows? |

Again, Once the customers or potential customers leave the legal property of the club. The Club has no responsibility nor can they legally do anything about them! That's where Law enforcement comes in.
I do apprecaite you mentioning the apartment complex accross the street since that is where the majority of the problems actually came from.
There are a few other studios. Which are even higher tech. Those would cost even more to use. |
