I couldn't help but notice that half of the once bustling Windmill Place has been torn down. How sad I thought, I remember as a kid wandering around that place! It use to be a place filled with people and businesses, and now its been reduced to a pile of ruble.

Its sad that that the owners couldn't make it work, hell how can you not rent something out when it was given to you in the first place? Start out by offering really cheap rent to entice the renters to come into the building, and with them know slowly raise the rent.

Once again I feel like a lot of people in Flint lack vision and just do things to make a quick buck. Its not eye catching at all, and it looks terrible so far!

The current owners are allowing a family dollar store to be built, and it looks like total shit. No pre planning went into this building at all. Its one of the busiest intersections in Flint and now it looks like hell. I think they should of planned it out better, they could of totally remodeled the main building in Windmill Place to house that. Its sad that some people could careless how things look.

hey ryan, i saw it yesterday. i had no idea that was happening....
glad they saved the "night club" building on saginaw st. that is a
nice building. i think the heating system for that building was in
the basement of the demolished building. wish i could afford a
liquor license...make it a jazz/ blues type of atmosphere kinda
like the "underground" was. that was a hot place and it was run
well. Wink Wink Wink Wink Wink there was never any riffraff there.
