Jeez Lt that aint hardly enough to get a good firefight started. You at least need a couple m16 types, 15 or so semiauto handguns, some big bore leverguns, a couple heavy barreled scoped sniper rifles, half a dozen revolvers half a dozen shotguns and 5000 rounds of ammo. Now ya got it covered. Be prepared. |

Twotap, any experience with the S&W 40 cal?
9mm seems a little underpowered, & the 45 has a stiff recoil.
The 45's not as bad as ny brother in law's 454 Cassul, though.

They're both available legally, all you need are large stacks of cash. |

Yes I have. I have a Glock 23 and 27. The recoil of both is quite managable. Dont cut the 9mm short with proper loads like speer gold dot 124 +p or the law enforcement load ww 127 +p+ it makes a great defense cartridge . Corbon 115 gr are another good load and are avaliable to the public. Evan Marshall a retired detroit cop has done research on one shot stops on various handgun cartridges and the better 9mm loads are all in the 90% range. Of course so are the 40 sw loads. The advantage of the 9mm is practice ammo is much cheaper and practice is what it takes to become proficient with a handgun. I have quite a few 9mm handguns and I never feel undergunned carrying one in an urban setting. If Im in the woods say bear country well thats a different matter and I usually carry this titanium 44magnum loaded with 250gr ww partition gold. You learn to handle a 44mag that weighs only 28oz everthing else is a piece of cake.

The fact we are having this discussion about firearm ownership points out once again that its a good thing Gore or Kerry never made it to the whitehouse and had an opportunutity to appoint leftists to the supreme court since they are going to take up the question of the 2nd ammendment. I find it almost humorous that the antigunners make the claim that every ammendment in the bill of rights gives those rights TO THE PEOPLE except the 2nd. Amazing how they can find things that are not there and exclude some that are. Hopefully the supremes will silence the antis once and for all. Heres a little video that shows what happens when you havemore money than brains, better make that first shot count.

I didn't know they made a handgun larger than 50 cal. That clip reminds me of Forrest Gump. "Stupid is as stupid does."
And I've always believed that stupid should be painful. Looks like it was in that video. |
