Dayne Walling for Mayor of Flint
Dear Friend,
I've been attacked. We knew it was coming, and today, Don Williamson put a divisive TV ad on the air to distort my record of service.
You know that in every job I have ever held, my mission has been to fight for people who need it most. From my work in DC with Mayor William's office, bringing in millions of dollars in public and private funds to invest in DC's future; to my work for the Urban Coalition and National Voice in Minneapolis, where I worked to make important policy changes and give people a voice through their vote; my goal has always been to put people first.
I need your help to communicate my real record of service across Flint's air waves.
We started airing ads this week, but I need your help to fund more of them (you can check them out here, and the title is "Vision, Leadership, Courage").
As I have been out in the neighborhoods I have heard many stories from people across this city, and my vision for change could not be clearer than it is today. I have a plan to get this city working, and working together. The people of Flint deserve a leader who will fight every day to turn this city around, and bring jobs and opportunity back to Flint. They need someone who will work to bring people together, not tear Flint apart. They deserve more than just paved streets, they deserve safe streets.
Now, more than ever, I am ready for this opportunity. Help make my vision a reality for Flint. Please contribute today and help us fight back on the air.
