Author    Post   FlintConservative F L I N T O I D Any bets on the magic number? I bet we're down at least 900 from last year. According to The Urinal, we had 16,554 students last year. Last I heard, we had capacity for 32,000 students. That's a lot of unused expensive space. I'd be shocked if they had any buildings that were salable in this market, and if there is even rumor of closing a building the public outcry causes the board to lose any semblance of backbone and crawl back under their rock. I fully expect the state to have to come in (within the next 2-3 years) like they did with the city. Down 3,026 students in the last two years. At that rate, in less than 10 years there won't be any students left.
