Anishinabe are Great Lakes Natives. Most still reside in the Dakotas and Minnesota. You have your clans mixed up ! My mother is from the Yahalgi clan and her maiden name is Lamochattee. Her people were originally from the Savannah, GA area but ended up in Mississippi and Alabama. |
