Flint MI USA Voters you said NO on PROPOSITION #2
In the special election Feb.28th 2006
YOU SAID WE WANT ACCOUNTABILITY!
You decided to keep your Ombudsman, Citizens Watchdog and Advocate!
You have demanded by your vote a working Ombudsman to
tell you if your government is doing right by you!
And if it is found you have been mistreated or the City of Flint is not
doing its job you expect your Ombudsman to tell the world.
Your Ombudsman will be your advocate for change.
Issues covered by your Ombudsman include, police brutality,
water billing, land use, garbage collection, police response
time, rude city employees, procedural violation of the
executive branch and legislative branch, any thing the
City is responsible for can be reviewed by an Ombudsman.
The Flint City Council will select the new Flint Ombudsman
Wednesday March 8th 5 p.m. 1101 South Saginaw in the 3rd floor Auditorium.
ATTEND THIS MEETING AND TELL THE NEW OMBUDSMAN THAT YOU WILL HELP
HIM OR HER.
