Author    Post   untanglingwebs El Supremo A number of people have been trying to draft John Carpenter as a candidate for Mayor. He has the experience building subdivisions, roads and infrastructure as well as the flip side, demolition. With all of these many millions of dollars pouring into the city, what real improvement have we seen? Nolden has managed to get a lot of the east side demolished and improvements throuhout his ward. Carpenter not only pushed everyone until he got the funding to tear it down, he worked with Hurley to tear down more houses in the area. The result is employee parking lots that can easily be monitored for safety, and lots of greenspace around the hospital. The entire block where Heartland sat is now beautiful and available for a future development plan.
