It was a great program, wasn't it? It was far better than little league; every kid got on a team, and every kid had to play in every game. For some reason, Mott stopped funding it, along with the entire Mott summer program. There used to be 100's of classes offered every summer, & Flint was the national model for such programs.

I enjoyed it also we played at the field by Central high. Now days of course with more hollowpoints zipping thru the air than flyballs I would say NO WAY. The plague is an evil thing for sure. Crying or Very sad

actually, there are many places little league could play ball again and, by the way, the flint central area is still a majestic quiet calming place to me.
