Author    Post   back again F L I N T O I D what happened to it? was it funded by the Mott Foundation and later dropped? i'm in san diego and was previously in allentown, pa., and in both places it is very very big!!! where did it go?? it was so big when i was a kid even some mom and pop stores sponsored teams! what happened?? _________________ even a small act of goodness may be a tiny raft of salvation across the treacherous gulf of sin, but one who drinks the wine of selfishness, and dances on the little boat of meaness, sinks in the ocean of ignorance. For some reason, Mott stopped funding it, along with the entire Mott summer program. There used to be 100's of classes offered every summer, & Flint was the national model for such programs. _________________ I used to care, but I take a pill for that now. Now days of course with more hollowpoints zipping thru the air than flyballs I would say NO WAY.
