Author    Post   Steve Myers Site Admin DETAILS: Lyon Productions feature film Minor League, a football story is holding an open casting call Saturday, March 14 from 11AM to 6PM. The Casting Call is open to all actors and actresses aged 18 years of age and older. Over 10 minor and supporting roles are being considered during this audition. Those attending are encouraged to bring their head shot, acting resume, and a reel if they have it. Please bring a valid state issued ID as well. The film stars such names as Robert Miano (Donnie Brasco/Dungeons & Dragons/General Hospital), Scott Schwartz (Ocean's 11,12,13/The Scorpion King), Ernest Miller (WWE, WCW, The Wrestler) and tentatively Pauly Shore among other familiar names. This is a Sports Comedy Drama with mature themes. Story Outline: A minor league football franchise is down on its luck when a rich businessman (Shore) arrives in town with an offer to buy it. But he gets turned down when he wants to replace most of the players. So instead, he creates an expansion team of his own while also stealing the other team's coach and top players.
