I hope he's up to the challenges that will be facing him. I also hope people haven't got their expectations too high. No president in history has been able to fulfill 100% of his campaign promises.

First of all WE have seen the asses all of our lives, and now
its time to cover them asses. This is a new day regardless
to those who like it or not. Obama winning means a lot to me,
due to the fact that this is one of the main items that we have
been fighting for many decades, and now we have the victory
lets change our attitudes.

Coming together seems to be a hard thing for most of us to
do, but this is AGAIN a brand new day, and like President
Obama said last night...that everyone who voted for him did
help to make a change.

As I watched the people in McCain's camp last night they
was bitter, and resented that McCain was defeated by a Black
person. However, McCain got my respect as he was talking
last night. When he told the crowd to stop booing the fact
that Obama won, and President Obama will always have his
support.

This is how we all should start thinking. Our younger generation
was the ones who helped make this change. Many voted for
the first time in their life (all skin-colors). Now its time to stop
blaming each other for being a failer, and set aside our racist
ways of thinking.

As I have posted many times a straight line of City's that's
along I-75 going North from Detroit. I will re list them again
Detroit, Pontiac, Flint, Saginaw, and Bay City. These are the
Cities that we need to regain Government control, but its
not a one man or woman's fight, and to you Republicians
that was against a Black man becoming President..Oh Well.

Believe me its those negative attitudes that will continue to
rob us of our blessings. As Twotap stated we must help the
new President to change thing, but we must also remember
that the change begins at home, and each one of our hearts
and minds.

In closing, I salute the many voters (All Skin-Colors) that
voted for Pres Obama, and to my Black Brothers and Sisters
we have work to do as well. So let's all get busy.

McCains people bitter??? probably but ill guarantee you their reactions were mild compared to the actions of the Obama camp if he had lost. Once again you have brought race into this by claiming it was Obamas skin color that kept repubs from supporting him. Their may be some but speaking for myself and friends and family it was his liberal leftist platform that kept us from supporting him.

Any camp would be bitter but in the end they always show their support for the winner. I agree had Obama not won there would have been massive issues through out this country. I too, will support Obama and hope he can deliver on all things promised since he has a most difficult job ahead of him.
Pray he lives up to his promises.

To Twotap. Why can't I talk about skin-color? When most
news reporters last night was talking the same game.
Plus in McCain's hometown the crowd booed as McCain was
saying his speech, and they final hushed the hell up after
McCain said...Lets not act like this.

Richard, I can accept your post. However, I can pleased
with the following staement. [quote=Richard] I too, will
support Obama and hope he can deliver on all things
promised since he has a most difficult job ahead of him.

So do I Richard, and I believe that our V.P will cover the
areas that President Obama may not be able to handle
politically. Also I am pleased that President Obama won
because of the American people who supports him.

Since Obama won the election I'm learning more and more about him. Already the press is saying he will surround himself with people who know what their talking about and Obama is not a "shoot from the hip" kind of guy.

Now that it is settling in, I feel pretty good about him and his family. The buzz around DC is President Obama and First Lady Michelle are far more social than the Bush's which looks like he will take us to a day of old when people in DC were more on track with one another rather than this HUGE divide of REP vs DEM.

As long as he does not allow the leftwing whackos who now dominate the democrat party to dictate his every move he may be fine. We shall see.

I dunno. The guy he picked for his chief of staff is really partisan. We'll have to wait & see who his other picks are.

I think that Obama's idea to surround himself with some
power hitting people, and those are the ones who will help
President Obama to bring about a change here in America.
Regardless to what race you American people wanna judge
or place Obama in the Brother is a Human Being.

I to must agree that the Obamas will being a new meaning
to socializing in the White House. This is a good sign on
the global socializing level, and there will be a more of a
peaceful environment to discuss global business.

Where the real change needs to take place is in the attitude
area of most Americans (Whites, Blacks, Middle Easterns,)
and others from outside of the United States. Mainly, the
American people need to learn respect for one another, and
each other in all races.

Stand Up ALL MY PEOPLE, cause we're now living in a brand
new day. The old antique bs should be packed away some
where plus sealed, and never re-opened again.
