This story seems shady at best to me. It doesn't even seem worthwhile to copy and paste it.

The end of the story is best. The complaint was slid under the door anonomously. How do we know the complaintant has already talked to Michael Carr? Aren't you supposed to go through the other complaint channels first?

My thoughts... Should this not be looked into by the state elections
bureau instead of the ombudsman??? If so, the whole of the council
elections race should be looked into including the use of City
employees to place signs in yards? mayorial funds backing sitting
council candidates? signs placed in yards and city spaces illegally
and without homeowner consent? (Which is again happening in the
current Senate race). painting of City park equipment by city
employees prior to a campaign event?

Maybe since it was annonomous complaint you can simply bypass all normal channels??? It seemed to me though she is investigating an issue that has already been resolved by the county clerk. Why?
