Clayton Township accepts recycling items around the clock in a shed behind the Fire Department, Corunna and Seymour roads. Mt. Morris Boy Scout Troop 107 Newspaper Recycling Center at St. Mary's Catholic Church parking lot, behind McDonald's. The center is open 24 hours a day. Newspapers must be bagged or tied.


Mt. Morris Township area accepts recycling items at the Auto City Eagles Club, 7445 Clio Road, between Mt. Morris and Stanley roads. Call for hours. Accepted items: Clear glass (cleaned with tops removed); tin cans (ends and labels removed, rinsed and flattened); aluminum cans, foil and containers (cleaned, and crushed); plastic milk jugs (clean with lids removed); No. 2 plastic; and newspapers (in brown paper bags).
