Two tap, I am a lib and I loved it.

The reasons? It exposes what is wrong with the system. If a business is allowed to be driven out of a venue, because the local board doesn't like it, what's next? McDonald's for serving too much salt on the fries? Wendy's chili because it makes you "poot", thereby breaking the noise pollution established by ordinances that they made?

What about the right to conduct business without being impeded, or the right to earn a living without fear of repercussions? Aren't there restrictions about how they are to picket? I know that there must be permits, noise restrictions, people letting others to get through the line?

Yet, we might like what they don't have to say, but I will fight for them to say it, only within the legal limits.

We are able to be liberal and still love what the troops are doing because of the fact that they had a job and they had to do it, by order of the Office of the President. A lot of us younger libs have had stories handed down to us at how crappy the Vets were treated when they got back from the Vietnam War. Why would we want to scar this generation, the way that the prior generations did back in the 60's and 70's. Courage is doing a job that you are scared crapless to do....

<off of soapbox>

One of my favorite parts is when he asks the dimwit broad "wouldnt it be wonderful if we had someone out there fighting for free speech?". The look on her face and her response is priceless. Laughing
