"Moms Allegedly Brawl at Chuck E. Cheese

NATICK, Mass. (AP) -- A child's birthday party at a Chuck E. Cheese restaurant was cut short after a fight broke out between two mothers. Natick police said the mom of the 9-year-old birthday boy apparently became enraged because the other woman's son was "hogging" an arcade game.

Sgt. Paul Thompson said Catherine Aliaga, 38, and Tarsha Williams, 33, both of Boston, would be summoned into court to answer charges of simple assault and battery stemming from the scuffle.

Thompson told the MetroWest Daily News that police received a number of 911 calls about the fight Saturday night.

He said what started as a birthday celebration turned into a "birthday melee."

In related news, Chuck E Cheese has announced a new partnership with UFC. The ruff house mouse will be the main sponsor of the up and coming one on one war that is mixed martial arts.

"I'm looking to expand our horizons and make CEC/UFC national." the whiskered CEO stated. Mr Cheese continued "We have had a lot of recent success with our Family Fights Pizza Nights program. The parents division is just getting going. The teens division has always been strong. We are looking to open it up to the pre-teens and then introduce a toddler division."

Mr Cheese believes this step will allow him to challange a much older rodent for Top Mouse in the states. "Mickey? I pity the fool. Yeah I know he's worried. He should be. He's old and feeble and his voice squeaks like a scared gerbil. He don't wanna see me. But I tell you now, I'm callin him out. Him and his DISNEY WORLD." At that moment during our interview, Minnie Mouse walked by. Looking at her , Mr Cheese stated "Hey woman! Hey woman! Listen here. Since your ol' man ain't got no heart, maybe you like to see a real mouse. I'll bet you stay up late at night dreamin of a real mouse don't ya. I'll tell you what. Bring your pretty little self over to my apartment tonight, and I'll show you a real mouse."

I asked Mr Cheese what his prediction for this fight with Mickey Mouse is. he looked me directly in the eye, and with a low sneer, stated simply "pain".

I was mortified when my husband was going to take my youngest to Chuck E. Cheese on Miller Road last weekend for a father/son night!!! He said that there were people lined up out the door and that there was about a one hour wait......I said under my breath...thank God!!!!

Can't they go see a movie? No, they have to take out their frustrations with a "wackamole" or something...

It was about 3:30 pm....I stated to hubby that I would like them home before 6:00 before things possibly got rowdy....giving a curfew to hubby and child? Smile

I would have rather have them drive for 45 minutes and go to Dave and Busters rather than drive 10 minutes and have me worry about them...<sigh>

Maybe they should change their name to the Fight Club.
