So I just read on Mlive.com that the Chuck E Cheese on Miller Road is temporarily banning the sale of alcohol at the restaurant.

Why the heck does a children's play place sell alcohol?

The hilarious thing is that I just saw a Chuck E Cheese commercial touting that it was a safe place for parents to take their kids to have fun.... much safer than rollerblading outside with a friend....

then again, if the mother on the commericla is dumb enough to wrap bubblewrap around her children rather than supply them with the proper knee, elbow, and wrist pads, I guess she'll believe anything.

I doubt very much that the troublemakers were being served. Mostly teenagers angry at the world. If you ask me the most terrifying thing about Chuck E. Cheese is the microscopic offenders. Seems like every time we take the kids there we end up at the after hours clinic with projectile vomitting. Gastroenteritis, influenza, ugh. Now thats scary!

Squash, very true, but you can say that about any place that kids frequent, like school, fast food restaurants, that nasty play place at Genesee Valley.

Alcohol aside... i read that the incident involved possible gangs? What the hell... why would a gang want to claim Chuck E Cheese as their territory? Granted, it would make it easier to spend time with their babies and baby mamas.... sorry was that insensitive? Then again, it would be extra dumb of them to hang out at Chuck E Cheese if they didn't even have children.

I don't know why this makes me so annoyed.... I haven't been to that place since it was Showbiz Pizza

I heard that too, Tegan. Can you imagine these "gangs?"

While I agree with squash about the teens, they certainly weren't drinking alcohol.
