honor roll??? i know folks who were on the
honor role, as a matter of fact, doctors, lawyers, etc.,
in prison also...there is a reason for everything.

i am very happy these clowns are off the streets but as
a caring nation, we need to do better with our citizens.

You have a good point and the community should be afraid of that, especially with many more of them to be apprehended and fear of retaliation very real. Because of county jail overcrowding, inmates are being released early, and convicts are being released from prison early because of budget constraints. Think there's enough room to keep this gang and their cohorts?

Giving away drugs free at taxpayers expense is a swell idea. Of course with an endless supply of their drug of choice say Crack or Heroin those so inclined will be able to stay high 24-7. But than again they still have to eat, have clothes and shelter as well as heat in the winter and probably air in the summer. Transportation to and from the free pick up point and of course HEALTHCARE. Since they will most likely be unable to function as productive citizens in their drugged up condition I guess another government program giving "free" (I love that term when its used in conjunction with taxpayer funded schemes) access to the above mentioned items will be in order. Problem solved. Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

You can by a lot of drugs for $25,000 a year (1 year prison sentence). Without somehow reducing or eliminating the use of drugs we will never make any progress in the drug war. It does seem a little strange but I guess they have had some success with this in other countries. It's better to waste our money buying cheap drugs on one crackhead then to wast our money incarcerating the crackhead, incarcerating the delaer, replacing the murchandise the crackhead stole to buy the drugs and later arresting the crackhead and dealer again. At the drug forum I attended they said that they give weaker drugs to try and wean people off in the drug treatment centers.

I think Alcohol is a worse drug than marijuana. How many people a year (1000's) does alcohol kill and how many a year does marijuana kill. (0)

People can smoke all the dope they want, as long as it's not paid for with my tax dollars or by users stealing my property to pay for it.

Don't tell me drugs are harmless. Four years ago, our Daughter was on crack. Most of my power tools, our car, and uncounted cash taken from my wallet went to support her habit. She was one step away from being a "crack ho" when she was arrested in Owosso. We did not bail her out. After her trial - probation for first offense - she never touched the stuff again.

It's a rough road, for sure. Today, she's 100% drug free, been married a little over 2 years, and doing fine.

O fatal accidents caused by someone stoned on weed. Shocked Interesting statistic where did you come up with that? I do remember a guy we worked with who claimed he could drive better after he had a joint or two. I wonder if John Force or Kyle Petty ever heard that one?

i could use a hot dog with red sauce on a steamed bun.....or 2!! Laughing Laughing

good point willy although that wouldn't happen unless under extreme
circumstances..not enough space in the prison system. although with
the kind of money they handle, our police departments should be
getting lots of new cars and harleys next summer. the drug forfeiture
law i would imagine breaks everyone who enjoyed the fruits of destroying
lives. they buy multiple homes and cars in extended family members
names. i say get it all!!! Laughing Laughing Laughing Shocked
