Topic: The Don lies about endorsements

Yesterday I had a shock: I saw my union's name printed on a list of endorsements for the Don. We're a small union, that cannot endorse because of our public obligations we are non-political. In fact, we haven't had a meeting in months. Yet, there is our name, listed as an endorsement. Now tell me this - where does he get off making up endorsements?

I suggest you all double check the list and don't count on what's on it being true. Now his campaign is giving us the run-around about taking our union off the list. Unfortunatly for the Don, that's a big mistake on a long sheet of mistakes he's made.

Please identify which union you speak of so it can be verified. Wink

"The Don" bought the endorsement of the AFL-CIO, so he could claim the backing of all unions that fall under their umbrella.

Can you list all of the unions he claims have endorsed him for us, so we can fact check "Mr. Patsy Lou's" work?

Go to his website www.electwilliamson.com He also lists the society of afro american police which consists of two black police officers, one who is a member of his secret police force and also the Flint Police community services bureau, which is his secret police. Thats stretching for police support. The other 250 police officers think he is a moron!

Unfortunatly, as an officer of that union I can't name it at this time because, as I stated in my original post, we're not allowed to endorse anyone due to our work in the public sector. However, you can print his endorsements and in a day or two look and see who's missing! That will be us.

We are currently running a letter by a lawyer right now to take to Williamson to remove us from his endorsements.

Yes, we are under the AFL-CIO, but they did not have a vote that included our union and thereby cannot include us or any other group that did not vote on his list.

That didn't stop him from listing all of the AFSCME unions either.

The city employees (locals 1600 and 1799) DID NOT vote to endorse anyone in the upcoming election. According to sources I know at the county, neither did they.

ha ha ha ha... naw man, never been to prison.
never met the don...it just seems as though most
people have a preconcieved notion as to what a politico
should present. everyones not gonna be a publicly amiable,
well polished individual. i don't really care how well dressed
or connected they are. i don't really care if they have a
highly regarded education. i've known plenty of educated,
well speaking fools over the years. like it or not, the guy
grew up poor, worked very hard, made a few mistakes but
realized the american dream. i respect that!!

1. He did not grow up poor
2. The basis of his money is theft
3. He got more money because Patsy Lou came from a family WITH money

Why do visions of John FFing Kerry, Ted ( well cross that bridge when we come to it)Kennedy, Algore, San Fran nan Pelosi, the Bill and Hill show and too many other to list 'well to do" liberal dems come to mind when we talk about wealth and who earned it? Confused

Just curious??

I've never heard of a Union's rank and file voting on who they will endorse! I've always known it coming from that locals elected leadership or the internaitonal's mandate.

I could be wrong. ANyone got any ideas?

No, you got it right. In the UAW's case, it straight Dems, no matter who the candidates are.

I don't think that the members vote directly for endorsments... in the UAW case, I believe they have a committee of folks who decide on endorsements.... the CAP Council....
