This surprised me. Apparently it is cheaper to buy a 2,200-square-foot house with four bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, a family room and two-car garage in Grayling Michigan than in Flint.

I'm not sure what the average price in Flint would be for this type of house but apparently it's lower than Grayling $155,000.

Well, of course.

Have you been to Grayling? It kinda sucks unless you are really into camping... and crappy winters.

And no cellphone towers, last time I was there.

I kind of like that area preferring Gaylord or Houghton Lake. They are supposed to be adding some amuzement park in the Grayling area in a year or two.

Housing prices in Flint are getting silly. Per the City's web page, the SEV of the house next door to me is $18,000.00. According to the sale information posted there, it was sold in April for $65,000.00 to a person in Detroit. The house has been empty for 3 years. Nobody in the neighborhood has seen anyone enter the house, so we think it was bought sight unseen.
