Author    Post   Flinn's Journal F L I N T O I D The following letter was received by myself addressed to "current resident": quote: PLEASE PARDON OUR DUST Dear Friends and Neighbors, The years of inattention to two streets on the West Side have caused major problems. The reconstruction of Flushing Road and Third Avenue are major projects. We've had to dig deep to re-do sewers, water pipes, and completely re-base these two streets and November 15, 2007 is our target date for completion. We have now done 400 miles of street resurfacing during the past three years. Your patience and understanding is appreciated. (signed) Mayor Donald J. Willamson I've already mentioned in another thread the half-ass paving job Don's crew did on Westcombe Avenue and Beecher Road in my neighborhood.
