Mid-Michigan Idol Auditions to be held this Saturday at Genesee Valley Center!
FOX 66 proudly presents the 3rd annual Mid-Michigan Idol competition. Mid-Michigan Idol is an official American Idol contest awarding one talented local singer a trip to a season seven American Idol audition city! Auditions will take place Saturday June 23rd, at the Genesee Valley Center in Flint. Registration starts at 10:30am and auditions begin at 11am. Only the first 100 people to register will be able to will be audition. Each contestant will perform one song
a cappella in front of a panel of four judges and will be judged on voice, style, stage presence and overall entertainment ability.
Ten finalists will be announced at the end of auditions on June 23 and will move on to perform live on-stage at the Mid-Michigan Idol Finale, July 21 at the Perani Arena & Event Center as part of the FOX 66 “Bringing It Home” event. They will also all win an American Idol prize pack and have the chance to meet American Idol season one finalist Justin Guarini who will be performing live with his band at “Bringing It Home!”
FOX 66’s “Bringing It Home” event is a community celebration that will take place July 21 from 12noon-6pm at Perani Arena & Event Center in Flint. The event offers FREE admission, parking, concerts and many family activities!
