Author    Post   Steve Myers Site Admin Gretchen Whitmer is proposing another 45-cents-per-gallon increase in the fuel tax. That's over 95 cents in combined taxes we will pay per gallon if this passes! In Flint Michigan, we currently have the highest water bills in the nation, that's nearly double the national average. We currently pay the highest auto insurance rates in the nation and soon we could pay one of the highest gas taxes in the country with a median income of $24,000 dollars. According to Health and Human Services, the poverty level for a household of four is an annual income of $25,750 dollars. Call Governor Whitmer today and let her know working families can't afford another tax increase.
