"ok, ok, ok ... readers continue to ask how an elected county official can get a $45,000 raise on top of a $100,000+ salary...read and share..."

The document below in quotation marks is a public document obtained via Michigan's Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).

"BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that effective as of the date of this Resolution, the Prosecuting Attorney is hereby appointed as the Corporation Counsel for Genesee County" [the Board of Commissioners] "and pursuant to these additional duties, shall receive additional annual compensation of $45,000."

This Resolution was moved, seconded and passed unanimously by the Board of Commissioners on Monday, May 18, 2015.
