Only offenders who have been under the jurisdiction or supervision of the MDOC within the last three years will appear. If more than three years has elapsed, the information will not be available on OTIS.

The Michigan Legislature requires the MDOC to keep offender information on OTIS for three years after discharge. Information is removed from OTIS only if the conviction is set aside, expunged by the sentencing court or by operation of law, or three years has elapsed since the offender has discharged.

Police say a one pot meth lab was found in a hotel room at the Home Town Inn on Miller Road in Flint Township.David Harris | mlive.com
FLINT TOWNSHIP, MI -- A meth lab was found around 1 a.m. Wednesday in a hotel room at Home Town Inn on Miller Road near I-75, according to the Flint Area Narcotics Group.
One man was arrested, according to FANG.

Hazmat and fire crews went into the hotel about 9 a.m. to dismantle the lab.

Officials said the meth lab used the one-pot method which typically uses two-liter soda bottles to manufacture the drug.

FANG officers found the typical components that make meth inside the room

Police have blocked off the scene as it is dismantled.

No other information was released.

One resident said she smelled ether -- a common component in meth -- and saw people going in and out of the room where the lab was found.

"That could have ended up deadly," said Jamie Allen, 29, of Flint, who was staying next door. "People don't have any respect."

Flint man accused of stealing nearly $16,000 from Citizens Bank

By Gary Ridley | gridley@mlive.com
on February 01, 2013 at 2:30 PM, updated February 01, 2013 at 6:51 PM

FLINT, MI -- A Flint man is accused of using a short-barrel shotgun to steal nearly $16,000 from a Citizens Bank on Dort Highway in November 2011.
A complaint was unsealed against a 38-year-old Flint man Wednesday, Jan. 30, in Flint Federal District Court. He has yet to be arraigned on the allegations.

An affidavit filed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation said a witness reported seeing two armed men entering wearing ski masks enter the bank the morning of the robbery.

The witness said one suspect was carrying a duffel bag and a silver handgun while the other carried a short-barreled shotgun.

A witness inside the bank said the two men ordered everyone onto the floor and demanded money.

Bank surveillance shows one of the suspects jump the teller counter and remove money from several teller stations, according to the affidavit.

A witness told authorities that the men fled the bank into a waiting car driven by a third suspect.

Bank records show they made off with nearly $16,000.

Police found the getaway car less than an hour later roughly a mile away on Somerset Lane.

A black mask, gloves and short-barrel shotgun were found in the car.

A DNA test of the mask connected authorities to the man named in the complaint, according to police.

A preliminary exam is set for Feb. 14.

The suspect has previous convictions of three counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, assault with intent to commit great bodily harm less than murder, larceny from a person, larceny of firearms, two counts of felon in possession of firearms and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
