Gregory Eason may be down but he's not out. He made an appearance at the last council meeting and is promising to show up for all council meetings.

Eason criticized Barnett Jones for not being out in the community to determine the needs, especially in the crime ridden north end. He noted that Brown, who lives in Lansing, and Kurtz, who lives in Flushing, don't live near crime. Jones, eason said, can't live in Ann Arbor and protect the citizens of Flint.

Eason said the Public safety millage was not meant to protect citizens, but was motivated by kurtz and Brown to balance the budget on the backs of the poor and milldle class He noted that with a deficit approaching 420 million and only hiring 10 officers, this millage had nothing to do with public saafety.

Kincaid discussed how the administration requested the council's support for the public safety millage. Freeman was with Kincaid at the meeting.

Questions:

1) Where is the plan?

2) Explain how the money is to be used?
.
When the administration could not answer either question Kincaid stated he took a position against the millage. He was especially disturbed that the majority of the money from the millage was to go into an escrow account.
