I went to the PD's web site to report a couple abandoned vehicles & found that the link no longer works, Does anyone know the correct link, or has this been discontinued?

When a lion wants to go somewhere, he doesn’t worry about how many hyenas are in the way.

Paddle faster, I hear banjos.

It works, thanks. I guess the city web site has the wrong link.

Too bad it doesn't have provision for reporting abandoned vehicles, which is what i wanted to do.

Dave, there's a form at this link to complete and mail to report abandoned vehicles:

In the driveways of a couple abandoned houses. One small car & one motor home that someone was living in. On either side of 2219 Milbourne.

BTW, did I ever mention how I HATE getting used to a new keyboard after using the same one for several years.

Thank you. I think you know where I live if you want more details.

Vehicles are stickered. All the neighbors are grateful, thank you.

Will return to tow as soon as their time is up (after the 20th).

Out of curiosity, are the VIN's run & the registered owners notified?

JUST NOTICED - the sticker has been removed from the motor home. That shouldn't affect the towing, should it? I guess the occasional occupant comes by now & then. I wonder if he picked up the used condoms that one of the neighbors saw on the floor when he peeked inside a couple weeks ago?

VINs are checked for stolen/wanted. If the vehicle isn't stolen/wanted, it is red tagged for the appropriate amount of time. If the situation isn't rectified within the specified time, the vehicle is deemed abandoned and impounded. Owners are not notified until after the vehicle is impounded. The removal of a sticker has no effect on the vehicle being impounded because the original officer is responsible for following up on each vehicle they red tag.
