"Wasn't McCain also pro war and pro deficits and pro big government spending?" As well as a progressive like barack. Im predicting that Hillary will try to unseat his highness in 2012 and a bunch in his own party will back her. Well that is if their are any left after the midterms. Very Happy

Politics is a 24 hour cycle, in a month things could be completely different, let alone 3 years. I believe in the end, when his policies take effect and results and improvements are shown, the American people will decide his fate. If he loses, well so sad, but I've looked into our President eye's two years ago when he was In Detroit, while he was signing books and shaking hands to the masses, I know he's in this for the right reason and know he'd have done what he though was correct for our nation.

That right reason being to force his socialist agenda on America? Looks to me like Americans and plenty of independents have become aware of what his policys are already as was shown in 3 recent elections and that whiny speech he gave the other night certainly confirmed it. I have a bunch of liberals in my family and everyone of them now concede they made a mistake falling for this guys snake oil salesman approach. But like I said before, a Carter or Obama is good for the nation every 40 years or so as it wakes up the uninvolved and gets them to the polls.

Looks like obamas dems aint got the message yet. Laughing Laughing Keep it up.

BA, I don't think twotap or any right wing hacks here will answer that because they can't. Because they know Obama really isn't socialist. They don't know what socialism is - they think they do but don't.

Barring any other great surprise, I predict Brown will be in the running after Obama's term limits (as a Republican or a Democrat). Laughing Laughing

I'll define it for you. Socialists support big government programs that are driving us towards bankruptcy so most Republicans are socialists. To make matters worst most Republicans don't know you can win a war and lose a war at the same time like if you go bankrupt fighting a war like the Russians did in Afghanistan.

Socialism refers to the various theories of economic organization advocating public or direct worker ownership and administration of the means of production and allocation of resources, and a society characterized by equal access to resources for all individuals with a method of compensation based on the amount of labor expended.
Slice it any way you wish the Obama administration embraces socialist values. Health care bing the front runner.
As for Obama being re-elected it is virtually impossible, in fact his only hope is if the senate switches majority GOP then posibly because they will off set far left and far right ideals.
The fact is that many people are tired of big government, tired of lies, tired of spending, and tired of taxes. From 2000-2012 will be 12 years of American decline. The next president is going to be som one that holds the grass roots of this country to heart. As a matter of fact and mark my words, The person supported by the Tea party will most likely be elected. And before I hear a bunch of garbage talked about them get off your ass and researc it instead of listening to the media. They are composed of democrats and republicans alike. It is simply people that have got together to say enough is enough.
