Love your country so much that you are afraid that your fellow citizens might be cared for? What do you think tax money is for? Bombing Iraq? Bailing out businesses? Shoveling into the pockets of your buddies from Yale? No, tax money is supposed to be used to make life easier and more pleasant for citizens of our great nation. Schools. Roads. Bridges. Healthcare. Parks. Fire Departments. Libraries. Scientific research. These are the things that make a country great. You know what makes today so great? That you two grumpy old men can still think the government is there to tax you and bomb Iran, but today YOU ARE WRONG!!! From now on, we start to build a government that takes care of its citizens and a citizenry with enough respect for each other to want to see their neighbors have affordable homes, healthcare, and education, even if it means that people who make over $250k a year with have to pay more taxes. If that drives you two old curmudgeons crazy, then we'll build you a publicly funded loony bin so that you won't end up crazy and homeless. You deserve it. Just because you are an American. Since I have no 401k, no investments or savings, & live on my pension & social security, I'm looking forward to all the freebies Obama will be sending my way. The Republicians would have no rights to yell Rigged election. After pulling they stunt two elections in a roll first Florida & 2004 it was Ohio. This election they thought that they was going to brainwash Michigan but it did not work. 2012 Obama will be well experienced in the White House, but after all I believe that President Obama will be good as gold by 2012, and in my future vision Obama just might win a second term. Show me today FOUR young Republicians who is in Pres Obama's league, and would be qualified to run against Obama in 2012? The young generation is be prepared to get involved like some of the other young Senators, House Reps, Congress that's here on the State level or on Capital Hall. What make some of you think that this is a one term President? Also tell me what YOUNG (not OLD) Republician is in the President's on deck circle? In closing, I do hope that this is a new era and time for the Democrats to remain in Political power, and with the Repubs still being in a dazed the Dems should move forward.
