To late for the Obama crowd, they already have the baby home caring for it.

Oh what to do, what to do?

me thinks the libs have a problem, i mean might they now lose the female vote. just think had the number 2 pick been condi the election would have been all but over.

Oh what to do, what to do? vote race or vote gender?

Ba-ha-ha! Very Happy

Really? I have heard nothing of the sort. I have heard a lot of Democrats calling this nomination an act of desperation which has no chance of resuscitating the campaign.

Perhaps the reason you haven't heard from the "libs" on this board is because they got sick of having posts the webmaster doesn't agree with deleted. I've gotten e-mails from three people today saying threads criticising the mayor were removed. So much for a free discussion of ideas.

Its those e-mails that made me decide to take a look. I have to tell you, I'm not impressed. It looks like (with a couple exceptions) the "libs" might have been the only ones able to make fact-based arguments and construct actual sentences.

I see why they left. I've seen enough myself.

Well it might take a bit more than that to return Flint to its glory days.

After thinking about it for a few days, I've decided that Palin is a brilliant political stroke by McCain. In one fell swoop, (s)he's changed the landscape of the entire election.

Like Obama, Palin represents change. Listen to her. She's happy to take on the establishment - Republicans and Democrats. She represents what I believe are the majority of Americans who are tired of politics as usual. And like me, she says the word "cool" in normal conversation. Laughing

Palin gives voters hope that while 2008 McCain may be talking like, and voting with Bush in order to become president, once elected he'll revert back to his old "maverick" ways that made him an interesting candidate back in 2000.

I also believe Palin is a "swing for the bleachers" for McCain. She will be judged by history as either the most inspired choice, or the biggest blunder McCain could have possibly made. No middle ground.

Their is some delicious irony in the choice of Palin too. In 2009 their will either be a black man or a woman in the white house. Without Obama and Hillary Clinton, their would be no Palin. It's like the guy who works a 40 hour workweek with time-and-a-half for overtime, then goes home and complains about the unions.

If you're a Republican and you like Palin, you have to thank the Democrats.
