OH MY GOD!!!!!! Would you STOP posting all of prisoner Williamson's supposed endorsements as a reason to vote for him??

None of those endorsements mean anything!! They are bought and paid for.

And also, by the way, quit using alternate screen names to try and hide who you are. Spelling you name backwards does not conceal who you are Terry. But then again, if you're dumb enough to vote for a convicted car thief, maybe you think we're dumb enough to be fooled by multiple screen names.

I endorse don williamson...
and i approve this message!! Laughing Laughing Laughing

come come now rushless.....even mean people
can enjoy the city with don as mayor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes, even you!! Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

i think some folks can't get with don because they
can't understand how and where he came up from
nothing to something. like it or not, the dude has
busted his butt to get where he is, and because of
his past he knows how many others have survived.
i believe he is correct in assuming basic sevices have
to be provided in order for ANY new businesses (or
anything else for that matter) are to appear in flint.
i take my hat off to him. he's a good man....
right rushless?? Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Cool

This might be a stupid question.... and I don't want to hear rhetoric...

what has the mayor done to revitalize, improve, or bring residents and businesses to Flint?

number 1 main accomplishment....brought flint back into the positive
financially. and before you say "wait, kurtz did it!", it wasn't totally
completed when kurtz left. see those houses being built? nobody dumps
money into an endless pit. they invest IF they see positive things
happening in a city. you'll say " wait!! williamson had nothing to do with
the housing developments in flint!!", i say it would have never happened
6, 7, 8 years ago because there was no confidence in flints ability to
become financially sufficient. has anyone noticed the lack of crappy junk
autos in the streets?? remember how it was??. Acknowledged or not,
crime IS DOWN and i and my neighbors see it daily!! sure, there are
some unhappy police and firemen but, they got their much sought-after
raises, new vehicles and i'm sure other things will change for them in
due time. i really think the guy is doing a great job, and he has not
written a check to me or any member of my family. i like the dude. he's
a character yes, but he's a damned good mayor for flint at this time. Laughing

What about the new housing developments that have lawsuits pending againsts the city? Sugar maple farms to name one of many that can't cut through the red tape to just get quality of life.

what new houses?

Ok, I guess I will be more specific. As a non-Flint resident interested in the city, I see uptown investments working on three or four different developments downtown, I see the GC Land Bank developing sites, I see UM-Flint building housing...

how has the mayor helped bring these developments downtown? Would the directors of these programs say that the mayor has helped or hindered their particular goal?

in the same respect, how would Walling better collaborate with these investments and encourage more of the same?

just because development is happening, doesn't mean the mayor should get the credit.

it's real simple. no smart business person invests money in a
losing proposition....obviously the builders think flint has progressed
to the point of being a place to invest. that, my good man, was the
mayors work... Cool Smile Smile Cool

yo rap!!! name some of the others??? i've heard of
sugar maple farms.

any city/ corporation that has a budget as large as flints
can expect lawsuits. thats business!!! stuff happens. Razz Razz

as for walling, i don't know what he'd do. i do believe he is
a smart individual and also that he has many connections
in government and thats great. i just believe the mayor has
done a great job to this point and it is my belief he should
continue his "project", the city of flint. Wink Wink
