Just exactly where does Lakisha Jones call home? Early in American Idol she clamied Flint as her home but now, I see her bio says Ft. Meade, MD is her hometown. I know GMA even did a 2 minute segment of Lakisha and Flint.
What is going.

I thought she worked at a bank in Flint which would make that her home. I know there was a lot of fan fare having her on the show and still in the running which was giving Flint a bit of a bright spot. Oh well, what can one do.

I'm just guessing, but I know she grew up in Flint and graduated from Flint, then how I understand it is that she moved around a little bit after high school and lived in Ft. Meade, but recently moved back to Flint, where she got a job at a bank.
I don't know how long the American Idol audition process takes, but if she still lived in MD or had a MD drivers license at the time of her first audition in NY, she may have had to put MD down as her home town. Maybe then she moved back to Flint in between the time she auditioned and was called back.
But I'm just speculating. |

I believe she currently resides in Flint but wish she would have that on her website and list it in her bio on American Idol.
