WHICH WORLDVIEW CONTRIBUTES TO A MORE PEACEFUL AND TOLERANT SOCIETY?

FLINT- Speak to the City presents an open forum Tuesday night at 7pm at The Good Beans Café to consider the question, “Which worldview contributes to a more peaceful and tolerant society?”

A panel representing the Judeo-Christian, Atheistic and Islamic worldviews will consider the question in an open forum moderated by Tom Sumner, host of Off The KUF at Kettering University’s radio station WKUF-LP 94.3 FM.

The Speak to the City forum grew out of conversations between staff and volunteers of the Damascus Road and Carriage Town Ministries, according to event organizer Robb Klaty. “I’ve been wanting to moderate a discussion of this kind on my weekday radio show on WKUF or my daily webcast at flinttalkradio.com. So when event organizer Robb Klaty asked me if I was interested, I jumped at the chance,” Sumner said.

Sumner said the discussion will be recorded for broadcast at a later date and will include a segment for questions from the audience.

There is no charge to attend or participate in the event. For more information contact Ken VanWagoner at The Good Beans Café at (810) 237-4663 or Robb Klaty on facebook.
