The Attorney General's office goes out of their way to collect on dead beat parents, and have done a great job. But when the FOC must enforce agreements that the AG's office has made they fall short. Is there animosity between the two offices? Does the FOC become upset when the AG is able to do something they did not? I have handed my local FOC information which would allow them to collect over $29,000 in back child support but they will not do anything. What am I missing? If I was not a hard working single parent who has been able to support my child for several years and was, instead, collecting assistance from the government, would they then be more inclined to enforce collection? These are the questions that run through my mind. |
