It was a pretty good show.

It appears he's trying to run interferance for the DON.

Is the budget accurate? (That issue is still up for debate!)

Don isn't spending money wisely (The money that he is wasting on lawsuits could have been better spent).

Amazing how he put this items in a positive light for the Mayor.

I received a phone call during the show so I don't know if he covered the crime aspect of the DON administration.

I don't know how anyone can defend that record! DEPLORABLE!

That's because Bob Leonard's producer, Sally Haywood, works in the Mayor's office. She is Peggy Cook's secretary.

She worked there once before as the "Contract Compliance Administrator" whatever that meant, but all that she did was walk around city hall with a video recorder and tape meetings for "The Don". City Council questioned what she was doing and how much money she was getting to do it and she disappeared.

How can the budget surplus be wrong? The city treasurer certified it, the state has it and okay'd it, and Dupis and whatever there name is also said it was accurate....

I hope you were being facetious with that question Ryan, because otherwise the flint real estate market will be hurt even worse when you lose everything as a result of managerial incompetence. Hoodrow hid the problems for years, and the PrisonPunk has done the same. Prior to the mayor buying seats in the last council election they were trying to force him to share data.

I think it is funny that you all think a man who is a car thief has changed. Too bad we do not hang them as they once did horse thieves.

Well, all I am saying is that one side says $20 million in the hole and the other side says 6.2 million black. So what gives? Whos right? Ever since that was brought up by Dayne Walling I have become more skeptical of who is telling the truth.

At the Walling pep rally Monday evening, Dane mentioned the lawsuits against the city 3 times, and gave 3 different dollar amounts.

With "The Don's" record, the numbers probably changed due to new lawsuits coming in while he was speaking!

Ryan: Part of Why I started this post. Bob did a pretty good job of explaining it on his show! Every minute the amount that the city will have to pay increases. The city has appealed and appealed! THe longer the lawsuits drag out the more in debt we go. From the interest we will all have to pay.

Bob's point which was right on the money was that prior mayor's also had blew this off. However, the overall point is that the city has lost twice. We are wasting big bucks attempting to continue fighting this. You get to a point where it is no longer cost effective to fight. Many of us believe we are past that point.

Either way, we've spent way too much $$ defending this. It is past the point where what We've spent defending is more than what we could have originally settled for. (I'm generalising we do not have the actual numbers, city says it doesn't track that)
