Mayor Don Williamson, his wife, Pasty Lou, and their companies face a lawsuit from a former manager who claims he lost at least $1.5 million after he says he turned Patsy Lou Buick GMC into the No. 1 Buick dealer in the country.

Richard Mansour, who left his job as general manager of Patsy Lou Williamson's Flint Township dealership in June, says he filed the lawsuit in order to get his money.

"I don't wish them anything bad," said Mansour, 49, a Grand Blanc resident and the nephew of the late businessman and politician Ted Mansour. "All I want is what's mine. " He always talks about a lie detector. " I challenge him."

Art Busch, the Williamsons' attorney, acknowledges a dispute, but said the suit is without merit and a "publicity stunt." Busch said a counter-claim will be filed and predicted the case would be dismissed.

Among Mansour's allegations:

He wasn't paid $850,000 plus interest from two loans given to the Williamsons and their companies. Mansour says the money was used to bolster the dealership.

He was encouraged to buy stock in the Williamsons' company, Sports Resorts International Inc., while he was guaranteed that he wouldn't lose money in the deal. Mansour said he bought 36,000 shares when the price was between $5-$6. The price after the Nasdaq market closed Thursday was 56 cents per share.

Profits were manipulated to keep Mansour from earning his maximum bonus.

He wasn't paid $24,000 in owed salary and vacation time.

Mansour, who says he has worked in the automotive business in various capacities since 1979, said he was the dealership's general manager for three years, often working seven days a week.

The business sold the most Buicks in the country in 2004 and has been one of more than 100 dealerships nationwide to receive General Motors' dealer of the year award for the past two years.

Mansour said his three-year contract with the dealership ended in June and wasn't renewed.

Busch said there were no written agreements between the sides regarding the loans.

"The Williamsons deny they've done anything improper," he said.

The case was assigned to Genesee Circuit Judge Archie Hayman.

No hearing date has been set.

The suit also names the dealership and Sports Resorts.
