He knows!!!!

A casino was worked out in Flint. That was one of the reason The Don wanted to be mayor so he could get it moved to his property in Mt Morris. Seems to me I posted the whole lawsuit against WIlliamson in this forum. Siting where he had announced the sale (or transferring of Stock) into the non existent Corporation that was going to build the Casino.

Well I see further down here Adam brought some of it back out in the open. Thanks. I didn't want to have to find it again. But Since it is the truth. No one really cares.

Ask two of your friends, a former councilman and his activist buddy, about the money they got from the tribe to pomote a casino on the old Buick site. They allegedly stiffed the third cohort who is very vocal about the whole affair.

This is not the same tribe as before and watch for a battle among the tribes. The state will fight it and the taxpayers will pay the price for more tribal greed.

Well for politicians Payoffs are called Campaign donations and for provate citizens they call it consulting fees. But Yes you are correct there was money exchanged hands to lobby for the casino on buick city property. Couldn't think of a better place to put it. Makes good sense to me. Better than on property out in Mt. Morris. I mean Flint.. Or is it really mt morris. I don't Think DON knew the difference.

How is casino going to do Flint any good? Michigan currently has a glut of them. And some of the other places have far more interesting things to do . Yah, yah, I know, Flint has the Art Center and the Sloan but let's face it, the gambling set aren't usually into high brow culture . And with Mt. Pleasant and other places for people to go for their gambling fix Flint is not going to draw big numbers . It's another boondoggle folks! Concentrate and build on what's in your hands already. By this I mean the colleges in town. They are built and they are coming for them already.

You could even put a mini-casino in Flint. Why stop developement though? It's one thing for Flint to fund Autoworld but stopping private developement is another seperate issue.
