Author    Post   Steve Myers Site Admin The Flint City Council voted to get rid of a line item budget. Councilmember Scott Kincaid said he supports a line item budget because it holds people accountable, however members who voted to get rid of the budget say it micro-manages city departments. Also, political activist Eric Mays has filed a lawsuit alleging campaign finance misconduct between Mayor Williamson, his wife and three new members of the council, Jackie Poplar, Kerry Nelson, and Sandy Hill.
