Flint firefighter Pat Lawson is off duty, awaiting the results of a drug test that could make or break his career.
Now, the Fire Chief is also in hot water over his case.
Fox news has learned Lawson has taken drug tests with urine and hair to see if he's using.
The results are expected back tomorrow. Fox news has also learned that Fire Chief Richard Dicks gave Lawson a letter stating if he would submit to the drug test, he would not be fired.
That has the Chief in hot water with the Mayor.
Lawson has two suspicious actions leading to the drug tests.
A week ago, he showed up at Flint Heights Terrace Senior Citizens complex in his underwear.
Flint Township Police charged him with disorderly conduct and breaking and entering.
The police report says he had slurred speech and appeared intoxicated and under the influence.
It was common knowledge among firefighters that he took a fellow firefighter's S-U-V that ended up with a crack dealer who cracked up the car.
Firefighters brought this to us, because nothing was being done.
