Author    Post   Steve Myers Site Admin Mayor Don Williamson has brought back Peter Dobrzeniecki as the city's finance director a little more than a month after he was apparently fired, one of the mayor's top aides said Tuesday. Joe Conroy, the city's governmental operations director, said Dobrzeniecki was back on the job last week and the move wouldn't require City Council approval. In early June, Williamson said he fired Dobrzeniecki, noting his connection to former Mayor Woodrow Stanley. But when Conroy was asked Tuesday whether Dobrzeniecki was actually fired or only suspended, he declined to comment.
