Give me the name of one Republican you have ever supported and ill believe ya. And before you retort, JFK, first and by the way the last Democrat for me.
If the Democratic Party had a JFK today I might not be voting Republican! |

Adam, I see the words could, would and imagine in your post, which leads me to believe you don't know how he is going to pay for his ideas either.
It is an idea and not a plan because a plan would explain:
How much it is going to cost and where is the funding is coming from.
What is going to be done.
Who is going to lead it up and who is going to be effected.
Where it will take place.
When it will be implemented
Supervision of the plan to insure it is carry out correctly and moneys are going to the right places and not pockets.
Follow up month, quarterly or yearly to insure insure the plan is getting carry out correctly and moneys are going to the right places and not pockets.
Most important, review the plan for relevance and redundancy.
Okay maybe I am being a little hard on the guy, but we need to see at a minimum, who, where, when and how much.
I remember he said some stuff at the debate on how exactly he would produce cost savings to pay for some new programs. I remember him saying he would eliminate the services bureau and move existing city employees around to save money. He mentioned about getting money from the government and better utilizing the existing grant dollars. I didn't memorize the other 2 cost saving measures but I have his actual plans printed out. He also does have some experience from working with the other mayor. |

Really, than what did you do? Economically challenged? the PC bug got you right by the ass. Any parents who rely on someone else to feed their kids need a good asswhippin. Actually its probably parent since the babys daddy done split. Anyhow I cant believe you would give up on the Prez who is remembered for bringing the Soviet Union to its knees. Hopefully you didnt channel your support to the one who brought Monica to hers. |

I just watched a hour long documentary about the Cuban missle crisis which I am pretty sure you were around during that period. The Soviet Union was a threat than and continued to be until Reagan outgunned em and pretty much brought them to their knees. Any and all problems facing the US were overshadowed by the threat they posed. |

The Soviet union also helped collapse themselves like we are doing. Socialism is expensive to run and then when you add in national debt, and foreign interventionism you have a recipe for disaster. Right now our currency has already fallen dramatically.
Currently Russia is still a threat as is Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan etc etc. etc. etc. If the next president is not Ron Paul we may start sending out the nukes. |

your right 2tap. actually i distinctly remember standing by the picture
window in my parents house looking toward detroit because i had read
somewhere detroit would be one of the cities hit by an atom bomb..
thinking back though, heck, flint would have got popped too!!!
uhhhh, adam. caring for the less fortunate is not killing america.
corporate greed at any expense is. off-shoring, catering to illegals,
senseless wars, take your pick!! never has a civilisation failed because
of what you call "socialism" and i call caring. they've failed because of
greed, corruption and/or invasion. |

Back in the 50's, there was a book called "Alas, Babylon" by Pat Frank. He mentioned Flint being a target because of all the defense work being done here at the time. |

I remember reading and hearing that the Soviet Union though a huge threat paled in comparison to the threat we would one day receive from the mideast. At the time I could not connect the dots. Pretty good prediction I would say. |
