Author    Post   Steve Myers Site Admin Derby-Girls-Sell-There-Stuff-A-Thon!! THIS WEEKEND! Body: Flint's only roller derby league is raising cash to get its league rolling. The Flint City Derby Girls will host a meet-and-greet fundraiser from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday-Sunday at 919 Frank St., off Third Street, near Mott Park. The team will sell and sign T-shirts, take photos with fans who bring their own cameras, sell refreshments, have a sign-up sheet for people interested in joining the league as a referee, skater, statistician or volunteer. Garage sale items will include clothes for all ages, books, movies, toys, accessories and other items. Derby Girls will also sign purchased items. Profits will fund the league's start-up expenses and costs of participating in future charity drives and events in Genesee County.
