Thursday May 24th, Rollhaven brings you the kickoff event of the year!! The Flint River Floaters gently haze the next round of recruits into the league.
Just wanted to officially invite you to be a part of our big recruiting party, SKATE OR DIE! coming up on Thursday, May 24th at Rollhaven in Grand Blanc! We will have live bands, games, door prizes, some open skating, and there's even rumors of a kissing booth! 7pm to midnight, plus a rockin' afterparty at The Machine Shop.
If you'd like to try out to join our league, pre-registration is only $15 and is open NOW (it'll be $20 at the door if you wait). Just contact R. Mia Darkness ( www.myspace.com/jeansyoga ) for pre-registration information and she'll hook you up! Prospective rollergirls must be 18 & over.
If you want to attend but not try out, we promise lots of fun for everyone! Only $5 cover plus $3 to rent skates for the general public. All ages welcome!
We also need volunteers, so shoot us a note with your information (talents, interests) if you don't want to skate but do want to be a part of the league in some other way.
Plus, don't miss our ZOMBIE BAKE SALE on Sunday May 20th, in the open air market in downtown Flint! 10am - 4pm, come meet some Flint River Floaters (zombie rollergirls) and buy yourself some gory goodies! If you buy lots of cookies, we'll promise not to EAT YOUR BRAINS!
